How to release the steering wheel lock again?

The function of the steering wheel lock is that the steering wheels cannot be moved when the vehicle is switched off. If you want to use the vehicle again, you must first release the steering wheel lock.

1. First, insert your key into the hole provided. In more modern vehicles, there is a start button. Try to start the vehicle.
2. Turn the steering wheel briefly to the left and then directly back to the right. You will now already notice that the steering wheel can not be turned as usual, but you can move it only a few millimeters.
3. Now try again to start the vehicle. If it does not work, then turn the steering wheel again in the other direction and then try again.
4. Turn the steering wheel while turning the key. As a rule, the vehicle should now turn on.
