Joyn app: downloads and platforms in check

Joyn is aimed at viewers who like classic TV channels. However, reception is exclusively via the Internet. If you would like to access the content of the streaming service on the go, you can download the Joyn app. This is available for all popular mobile operating systems.

Joyn: App for (almost) all major platforms

Modern television runs on the Internet. Streaming services like Joyn therefore offer you many channels via one platform. So all you have to do is create a free account to access the content. When you watch them, advertisements are regularly displayed. If you don't want that, you can upgrade to a paid subscription. For 6.99 euros a month, this gives you the option to stream with 90 percent less advertising and in HD quality. If you want to access the content on the go rather than via your computer, an app is also available. On the computer screen, you can simply open Joyn in the browser and stream - the address is www.joyn.de. For all other end devices, an app is necessary.

Who uses a SmartTV without an additional device, so far only find the Joyn app on certain devices. The only exceptions are TVs with Android TV as the operating system and Samsung devices with Tizen. A helper like Fire TV is therefore necessary for most TV devices.
