Valheim: How to clean crypts - tips and info

The swamp area proves to be a tough place and in the crypts the same applies. With the right preparation, iron farming nevertheless works out effortlessly.

Valheim: With this trick, crypts are almost a piece of cake

Crypts are distributed randomly in the swamp biomes, you recognize the entrances as stony buildings with poison-green light.

• Within the crypts you can expect two types of enemies: Draugr and slimes.
• The latter are particularly dangerous, as they cause high damage with their cloud of poison.
• Practically, all passages are blocked by muddy iron remains. You can cleverly exploit this.
• Never directly knock the entire passage free with the pickaxe. In this way, gaps are created through which you can see enemies and attack safely.
• For this procedure, the bow and arrow are enormously important. Therefore, always take enough arrows with you.
• Poison resistance is useful (more on this here), but not mandatory if you attack the enemies in this way.

In addition to the iron scrap, you will find many other important items in the crypts, such as weathered bones, chains, as well as coins and other valuable objects such as rubies and amber. It is therefore advisable to enter the crypts with an inventory that is as empty as possible.
