How to create a backup of your Galaxy Fold

If you want to protect the content on your smartphone so that you don't accidentally lose it, a backup can help. If you are already logged in with your Google account on the Galaxy Fold, you can have regular backups performed automatically. You also have the option to select exactly which files should be synchronized and which should not.

1. If you want to create a backup with the manufacturer's software KIES, you first have to download and start it on your PC and on your smartphone.
2. Then connect both devices via a USB cable. In KIES, you now go to "Backup/Restore" and select the content you want to save.
3. Now a backup file is saved on the computer. You will also receive a success message about the creation of the backup.
4. Alternatively, you can log in on your smartphone with your Google account. Then you can create a backup in Google Drive via the "Backup & Restore" option.
