Galaxy Z Fold 2: Data backup - how to create a backup

A backup protects you from losing your data in case of a device failure. Due to the large amount of personal files such as photos, videos or documents, a regular backup of the smartphone is therefore particularly advisable.

How to backup data on Galaxy Z Fold 2

The data backup app is often used to backup data on Galaxy Z Fold 2.
  1. Start the data backup app on the smartphone. You can find it in the settings menu.
  2. After confirming the usage instructions, tap "Backup" and choose which medium to back up your data to. The internal memory, an SD card or a connected PC can be used for data backup.
  3. Confirm your selection and choose which of the data will be saved. Only the data you select will actually be used as a backup.
  4. Finally tap "Backup", after which the smartphone will automatically create a backup.
  5. This process usually takes a few minutes. Finally, you will receive a confirmation message.
