If you want to transfer the content from your Galaxy Fold to another device, you have several options to choose from. If you have bought the Galaxy Fold new, you need to transfer the data from your old smartphone to the new one. This can be done in just a few steps.

How to transfer your data to the Galaxy Fold

If you bought the Samsung Galaxy Fold new, the first thing you need to do is set it up according to your preferences. If you already had an Android device before, then you can transfer the data from your old smartphone to your new smartphone in a few steps.

1. First, go to "Settings" > "Accounts and Backup" on your old device and select your Google account. Then tap "Sync" and select all the content you want to transfer to the new device. Finally, tap again on "Sync now".
2. Log in on the Google Drive website with your data, you will now see a backup of your device.
3. Now also go to the settings on the Galaxy Fold. Log in there via "Accounts" with your Google account. Unter „Sicherung zum Widerherstellen“ wählen Sie nun das Backup, das Sie zuvor gemacht haben, aus.
