Samsung Galaxy A80: How to replace the battery

The Samsung Galaxy A80 is equipped with a powerful battery out of the box. If the battery no longer brings the usual runtime, can no longer be fully charged or is even completely defective, only a replacement helps.

Galaxy A80 battery replacement - what you should keep in mind

The battery of the Galaxy A80 is permanently installed, which is why an independent replacement is difficult. If you open the device yourself, the manufacturer's warranty might expire. If you have the battery replaced by a repair shop, the warranty often remains intact. Some workshops also offer their own warranty for the repairs.
  • When choosing a repair service, make sure that it is a Samsung-certified workshop.
  • In terms of costs, you have to expect at least 80 Euros for a battery replacement. Prices vary depending on the workshop.
  • Make sure that only original spare parts from the manufacturer are used for the replacement.

Be careful of data loss

Before you give your Galaxy A80 in the repair, it is advisable to create a backup of the device. This way, you are on the safe side if there is a loss of data during the repair process. You can either create the backup locally on your computer or online via the Samsung or Google Cloud. Once you have your device back, you can simply restore the backup in case of data loss.
