World of Warcraft: Show FPS - how it works

World of Warcraft is not considered a particularly hardware-hungry game even today. If you still want to know what performance your computer delivers, we show how you can display the FPS.

No magic needed: The FPS display can be shown in WoW by pressing a button.

No external program is needed for the FPS display, as World of Warcraft has its own function for this purpose.

World of Warcraft: How to see the FPS

You activate the FPS display as follows:

1. Open the menu with "Esc".
2. Select "Keyboard Layout".
3. Click "More Functions" on the left.
4. There you will see the entry "Toggle Framerate Display" along with the currently set key layout.

You can leave this at the default setting or change it as desired. In any case, the FPS display will appear on the screen afterwards and you will always know how smoothly WoW really runs in terms of system requirements.
