World of Warcraft: All info on the 16th anniversary event

At the end of 2020, World of Warcraft will celebrate its 16th birthday. However, with the new Shadowlands expansion coming out in November, the anniversary celebrations have been brought forward a bit.

WoW turns 16: Just before Shadowlands, this is a reason to celebrate.

Special anniversary events are not new to World of Warcraft. Players can also look forward to special events in the winter of 2020.

In the anniversary event for the 16th anniversary, you can expect the following specials:

• The anniversary celebrations started on 1. November 2020 and end on November 24.
• During this time, there is an experience and reputation buff for all players - this is fittingly 16 percent.
• Center of the anniversary are - also fittingly - the Caves of Time. There you can watch, among other things, the video sequences from different WoW eras.
• You will receive 200 time-distorted badges as well as the festive fireworks. With the badges you can buy various items from the NPC traders in the caves of time.
• The classic Alterac Valley is playable as part of "Korrak's Revenge".
