World of Warcraft: Change language - how to do it

World of Warcraft is still spread all over the world after more than a decade. Consequently, it goes without saying that the game has all the major languages. We explain how you can change the language.

World of Warcraft: How to change the language

The change of language is already possible in the main menu, so before logging in with a character:

1. Click on "Menu" at the bottom left.
2. Select "System".
3. In the bar on the left you will see the section "Languages".
4. You can set "Text" and "Audio" partially independently of each other. Open the respective selection box and select the desired language.
5. Confirm the change by clicking "Apply".

After that, a message follows that a restart of the game is necessary for the language change. Perform this to play World of Warcraft in the desired language afterwards.
