Genshin Impact: How the adventure levels work

On the adventure levels, you should know these basics:

• The adventure level decides which game features you can use.
• So at level 10 you can buy from merchants, at level 12 you can start doing daily quests, and at level 16 you unlock co-op mode. At level 20 you get the Battle Pass. All features are available at level 27.
• The adventure level applies to your entire account. It is increased by many activities, such as quests and dungeons, but not by killing enemies.
• The adventure level is not to be confused with the character level, which is individual for each character. The character level defines the number of health points (LP) and the basic values for attack and defense.
• You increase the adventure level in the usual way by gaining experience. This is done, for example, by completing enemies and quests.
• In the adventure guild you get rewards for each adventure level.

So the basic principle of adventure levels in Genshin Impact should not present role-playing fans with any major puzzles. The distinction to character and world level is no longer a problem after a short time.
