Artefacts are basically what armor pieces are in other role-playing games:

• Each character has five slots for artifacts.
• These are each assigned to a symbol. This means that artifacts you find are always clearly assigned when you equip them.
• Sets allow you to benefit from additional bonuses. Set bonuses are available for two and for four parts.
• The artifacts are divided into different quality levels. This is done by specifying stars. The improvement by upgrade is possible.

Since artifacts take the role of equipment, they logically play an important role. Here, the familiar system applies: the further you advance and your level increases, the better artifacts you can find and equip.
