MacOS Versions: All the important info on the operating system
Since one of Apple's first operating systems, Mac OS X Server 1.0 from 1999, the company has now developed and released a whole series of MacOS versions. Even the current name "MacOS" has evolved from the earlier names "MacOS X" and "OS X".
MacOS versions: These are still compatible today
- You can't use all macOS versions properly today. In general, it is recommended that you always install the latest macOS version to ensure app compatibility and to be able to use the latest security updates.
