Turok: Remastered versions released - all info
The name Turok comes from the distant gaming past: The dinosaur hunt from first-person perspective appeared in 1997 for Nintendo 64 and PC and became a complete success. A few years ago, the first two parts were re-released as remastered versions. They were released two years apart.
Turok Remastered also for the PC
Turok initially appeared only for Nintendo's Game Boy and N64, as well as the PC. It wasn't until a decade later that the then-new consoles from Sony and Microsoft took notice. Since then, six different games in the series have been released. Turok Remastered, like the second remastered part, also appeared for the computer.- Turok Dinosaur Hunter appeared in 2015 as a remastered version of the first part of the series. This mainly involved minor revisions, such as an expansion of the range of vision.
- The game's water reflections and lighting effects were also improved. Graphically, only minimal improvements were added.
- On Steam you can get the version for about 20 euros.
- Almost two years later, in 2017, then appeared Turok 2: Seeds of Evil. This is a remastered version of the second part. Here, too, there were only minor revisions. The changes are also limited to the lighting effects and the reflections in the water. You can also get the second part for just under 20 Euros. Auf Steam gibt es jedoch regelmäßig Angebote, wenn Sie beide Spiele in einem Bundle kaufen.
