Remove Windows 10 Ads: How easy it is

In Windows 10, ads appear in various places in the system. These may appear on the lock screen when you log in to your user account. You may also see advertisements as notifications. You can turn off all advertisements in the settings.

Remove annoying ads in Windows 10

Advertisements can be easily turned off in Windows 10. You can find all the necessary options in the Windows settings. This is how you get rid of ads on the lock screen and notifications. You can find the settings via the search or via the Windows menu.

How to proceed

1. Click on the Windows menu and select the small gear to open the settings.
2. Select "System".
3. Click on "Notifications and Actions".
4. Look for the option "Get tips, tricks and suggestions when using Windows" and uncheck the switch next to it.
5. Now click on "Home" at the top left of the menu.
6. Select "Personalization".
7. Click on "Lock screen".
8. Under "Background" now select "Image" in the drop-down menu.
9. Find the option "Show Windows and Cortana entertainment, tips and more on the lock screen" and disable the switch here as well.
10. Klicken Sie jetzt im linken Menü auf „Start“.
11. Scrollen Sie nun zu „Gelegentlich Vorschläge im Startmenü anzeigen“.
12. Deaktivieren Sie auch hier den Schalter.
13. Sie sollten nun keine Werbung mehr sehen.
