iOS 12.3: Fixing problems in the system

In principle, updates of an operating system have the intention to accommodate new features and equally fix old bugs. It doesn't always work out in theory, which is why version 12.3 in particular caused annoyance among many users. A few crucial bugs forced the company to quickly fix them.

iOS 12.3: These bugs occur frequently

Although not every bug immediately has the magnitude of a catastrophe and can accordingly be easily forgiven, bugs like those in version 12.3, however, cannot be justified.

1. Probably the most well-known bug revolved around Apple's own chat app iMessage.
2. Within this app, you can chat with other contacts who also own an iPhone, similar to WhatsApp.
3. A specially prepared message, however, caused recipients of these messages to watch as your app crashes and can no longer restart.
4. The endless loop of crash and restart made it partially impossible for users to continue using the device.
5. The only option was to delete all data from the device and restart it.

iOS 12.3: Weitere Fehler im System

1. Ebenfalls problematisch waren Anrufen über VoLTE, die teilweise weder empfangen noch versendet werden konnten und eine Kommunikation unmöglich machten.
2. Ebenso wurde der „Report Junk”-Link in vielen Chats unbekannter Absender nicht mehr angezeigt.
3. Das Update zur neuen Version machte manchen Nutzern ebenfalls Probleme, da die Server zum Zeitpunkt des Release stark besucht waren.
