Delete Google Photos completely: Remove images quickly and easily

You can delete all images from Google Photos at once. To do this, it is best to open Google Photos in your browser. There you can select all images by highlighting the first and the last one while holding down the shift key.

Delete Google Photos images from the app

You can delete Google Photos images directly from the app on your smartphone.

1. Open the Google Photos app.
2. Select an image and press and hold it.
3. Once the selection appears tap the recycle bin on the top right to delete the selected image. Optionally, you can select other photos beforehand by tapping on them.
4. To delete the images permanently tap the icon with the three dashes at the top of the app. Select "Trash"
5. After that, tap the icon with the three dots and select "Empty Trash".

How to delete all images from Google Photos via the website

1. Open Google Photos in the browser.
2. Click "Photos" in the menu on the left.
