How to upload videos to YouTube quickly and easily

YouTube is the leading platform for online videos. Every user can upload their own videos there for free, create playlists and of course watch videos of other users. You can provide your own videos in the process in your channel and share them either only with friends or with the public.

How to upload a YouTube video?

In order to upload videos to YouTube, you first need an account.

1. Log in to YouTube.
2. Click "Create" > "Upload Video" at the top next to your account icon.
3. Before you upload the video, you can set the privacy settings.
4. Now select a video file from your computer and start the upload.
5. While the video is uploading, you can make further setting for the video, edit the video description and the like.
6. When the upload of the video is finished, make the video available to everyone by clicking "Publish".
7. You can specify in the privacy settings that the video should be "Private" or "Unlisted". In this case, finish by clicking "Done" or, to make it available to specific people, go to "Share".
8. You can also set a video to "Private" first and "Publish" later. In the video manager, you specify whether your video should then still appear in the subscription box or not.
9. Finally, set a specific date for publication.
