In Monster Hunter World you go hunting for monsters. These differ in various points and must therefore be done with special weapons and tools. If it still gets a little dicey during a fight, you can use the distress signal to call other players for help.

How to send an emergency signal in Monster Hunter World

When you face a strong monster in the game Monster Hunter World, you may well need help. If you send out a distress signal, you can call players, other hunters, for help. It doesn't matter whether you are in a joint session with them or not. Another advantage of the distress signal is that you can farm certain materials faster during this time. To use such a signal, you just need to fire it.

1. If you want to send the distress signal, first open the Start menu.
2. Then go to the command "Quest".
3. Here, select the option "Fire distress beacon". Then you need to confirm this again.
4. You can now exit the menu. Your character will then fire the distress signal.
5. Other players now have the opportunity to help you in the fight against the monster. The signal can be fired before the fight, if you already know at the time that the monster is too strong.
