Valorant should appeal to as many players as possible, according to Riot Games. The prerequisite for this is fair system requirements. We take a look at the official hardware specifications for smooth gameplay.

With Valorant, especially CS: GO should get a permanent competitor. High playability on all systems is important to achieve this goal.

Valorant: System requirements in check

Fitting the philosophy of keeping the requirements very low, Riot Games makes only few specifications regarding the hardware.The minimum requirements for 30 FPS are:
  • CPU: Intel i3-370M
  • Graphics card: Intel HD 3000
  • Memory: 4 GB RAM
Recommended for 60 FPS are:
  • CPU: Intel Core i3-4150
  • Graphics card: GeForce GT 730
  • Memory: 8 GB RAM
For maximum performance at 144 FPS or more:
  • CPU: Intel Core i5-4460
  • Graphics card: GeForce GTX 1050 Ti
  • Memory: 8 GB RAM
Thanks to these requirements, Valorant runs reasonably smooth even on older laptops. Conversely, strong computers can effortlessly reach triple-digit FPS values, which not only looks good in a fast-paced shooter, but can also be an advantage.
