Asus Zenfone 6: IMEI check - how to do it

Every smartphone is equipped with a so-called IMEI number. This allows you to uniquely identify your device. The number assigned by the manufacturer provides information about the phone model or brand, for example. You can perform an IMEI check on the Asus Zenfone in various ways.

Asus Zenfone 6: Find out the IMEI number via the system

If you want to find out the IMEI number directly via the Zenfone 6, you have two options to choose from:

1. First open the settings and go to "System". After that, navigate to "About the phone" > "IMEI information". The 15-digit number is now displayed to you.
2. Alternatively, open the keypad the Zenfone 6 and enter *#06# here. Press the green handset so that the IMEI number is displayed to you.

For an even faster IMEI check, just look on the back of your smartphone, whether there is still a silver sticker of the manufacturer here. If this is the case, you can read the serial number directly.

IMEI check: These alternative ways there are

If you do not have the Zenfone 6 just at hand, there are also other ways to check the IMEI.

1. You can find the IMEI number on the warranty card of your smartphone. This was enclosed in the product packaging of the Zenfone 6 for you. On the inside of the warranty card, you will see a sticker that shows the serial number.
2. Also on the product packaging itself, there is a sticker through which you can read the IMEI number of the Zenfone 6.
