Bitdefender: remove device - how to do it

Bitdefender is a popular antivirus program. Here, there is an offer that allows you to protect multiple devices with one subscription to Bitdefender. If you have lost a device or are no longer using it, you can remove it from your account and release the slot to another device.

How to remove a device from Bitdefender account?

To remove a device from your Bitdefender account, Bitdefender must be uninstalled first.

1. To do this, simply install and run Bitdefender's uninstall tool.
2. After a few steps, Bitdefender is uninstalled and you need to reboot the corresponding device.
3. Now you can also remove the device from the list of devices in your Bitdefender Central account.
4. Go to the login page of Bitdefender Central and log in with your account details.
5. Now open "My Devices" and click on the icon with the three small dots that are vertically above each other at the device you want to remove.
6. Click on "Remove" to confirm the process. The number of all devices connected to your account will be updated shortly after.
7. To add a new device, simply install Bitdefender on it and perform the setup.
8. To do this, go to "My Devices" in your Bitdefender Central account and click "Install Bitdefender".
