Star Citizen: This is Foundation Festival 2950

The Foundation Festival 2950 is designed to highlight and promote the revamped Guide system. Our guide explains what's behind it and how players will be enticed to participate.

A teacher for all occasions: At the Foundation Festival 2050, everything revolves around the guide system.

All beginnings are difficult - in a simulation like Star Citizen, this is especially true, especially in the extremely unfinished alpha stage. The guide system is designed to make it easier to get started.

The guide system brings newcomers and experienced players together:

• This is done in a targeted manner: The introduction is always appropriate to certain topics, such as trade or combat.
• As a reward, guides can unlock certain badges. There are a total of eight of them, each assigned to a specific thematic area.

The Foundation Festival 2950 takes place over the entire month of July 2020 and lures with further rewards, and again in the form of badges:

• For a successful guiding session, the guide receives the yellow insignia symbol for his Spectrum account.
• For three successful sessions there is the orange badge, for five sessions the red insignia and additionally an Anvil Arrow skin.
• In addition, the ten most active guides will be rewarded with a ship. This is to be awarded in line with the guiding focus; so not necessarily all winners will get the same ship.

Inversely, newcomers will also be rewarded for participation: if an account no older than 30 days completes a full guiding session for at least 30 minutes during the festival duration, it will be credited with 5,000 UEC.
