The Tagesschau app was given the dark mode with version 3.0.

• The update appeared in April 2020 and brought with it a fundamental renovation.
• In this move, the dark mode was also introduced.
• You can find this in the "Settings" of the app. There you can select the option "Dark" under "Style".

All articles and content then appear on a black background, the brightness is also adjusted accordingly. With the "Auto" option, you leave the mode to the operating system, as the Tagesschau app then follows the general cell phone settings.
