The IMEI is a kind of serial number that you can use to check your Huawei P30. Sometimes you need this number, for example, to be able to take out insurance for your smartphone. In doing so, you are first faced with the task of finding out the IMEI.

How to check the IMEI of your Huawei P30

There are four different methods to check the IMEI of your Huawei P30. You can find out both when your smartphone is on and when it is off. Since the IMEI serial number can also be found on the packaging, among other things, you may even be able to find out the number if the smartphone is lost.

• The first method to find out the IMEI of your Huawei P30 works via the menu. To do this, open the settings and select "About phone". Among many other information, you will also find the IMEI here.
• Also, you can query the serial number with a speed dial. To do this, open the phone app and type *#06# in the number field. After you have pressed the green handset, your Huawei P30 shows you the IMEI.
