If you own a Brother printer, there are different ways you can use to access your printer via your iOS devices. For example, it is possible to print documents directly from your mobile device without having to transfer them to your computer. You can connect via WLAN or AirPrint.

How to access your Brother printer via AirPrint

If you want to print documents via your iOS mobile devices, then you can access your Brother printer via AirPrint. However, make sure that the Brother printer must be equipped with AirPrint. This is especially guaranteed for newer models, but older ones may lack this feature.

1. If your printer supports AirPrint, it will be automatically detected by your iPhone when you are nearby.
2. You can then print documents directly from your iPhone without any setup or configuration.
3. For Windows printers, the procedure is a bit more difficult. Although you can retrofit the AirPrint function via special software, this involves a lot of effort and is therefore not recommended. Instead, use the connection with the WLAN.

If your Brother printer is WLAN-enabled, you can also print your documents via the smartphone without AirPrint. Download the app "Brother iPrint&Scan" from the App Store for this purpose. The printer only needs to be on the same WLAN network as your iPhone to be able to print documents.
