Uninstall Steam: How to remove the program
Steam is the interface for millions of PC gamers worldwide. Still, there may be reasons to uninstall the software, such as regular problems or if you want to take a gaming break. We show how to uninstall.

The leading gaming platform is required for many games and is therefore almost indispensable.With these steps you can uninstall SteamTo prevent all your games from being deleted as well, navigate to the program folder "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam" and copy the folder "steamapps" before uninstalling. You then uninstall Steam on Windows 10 like any other program:Open the overview of all installed programs. This can be found under "Programs" > "Programs & Features" in the "System Settings".- Alternatively, you can also get to the list of all installed programs via the Windows settings by clicking on "Apps" > "Apps & Features" in these.
- Find the entry "Steam" in the program list. The best way to do this is via the search box above the program listing.
- Click "Uninstall" and follow further instructions if necessary.
