Rust: Level 2 Workbench - what you need to build

The workbench is where you build advanced objects for all uses in Rust. With the second level workbench you will have access to many new items. Read how to get the item.

You can make some items in Rust without a workbench at all. But the further you progress, the more important workbenches become.

Rust: How much is the level 2 workbench?

You can get a level 2 workbench in several ways:

• You find a finished workbench and place it in your base.
• You find a finished workbench and learn the blueprint at the research table. Then you can make the workbench itself, and as many times as you want.
• You find the blueprint, learn it and then make the workbench itself.

To build the level 2 workbench, you will need:

• 500x Metal Fragments
• 20x High Quality Metal
• 500x Scrap Metal

Once crafted, the workbench will open up quite a few new building options for you, such as prison cells, rocket launchers, the longsword, metal windows, snow jackets, and many new types of ammunition.
