To replace the battery, you need the right tools. Among other things, a heat gun, a suction cup, a plectrum and a small Phillips screwdriver are needed.- First, heat the smartphone from behind (the back cover) with a heat gun. When doing this, make sure that the smartphone does not get too hot. With a suction cup and the plectrum, the back cover can be released from the phone.
- Remove the 15 Phillips screws that hold the antenna and charging module. Now you can remove the parts from the smartphone. Here, a thin plastic spatula can be helpful.
- Behind the modules, the battery comes to light. This you only need to disconnect from the device by pulling the connection. Warm the battery also before removing briefly with the heat gun, because this is also glued to the Samsung Galaxy S10.
