Android Wear doesn't connect: These tips help
If your Android Wear device doesn't connect, it's usually due to problems with the WLAN or Bluetooth signal on your smartphone. But other causes are also a possibility. Follow our solutions to track down the problem and fix it right away.
Check Bluetooth and WLAN: Android Wear won't connect
Connection issues often occur when you accidentally disable your Bluetooth or WLAN. This is true both when you are just about to pair Android Wear with your smartphone for the first time, and when it is running.- Check on your smartphone to see if you have Bluetooth turned on. Swipe down from the top. If the Bluetooth icon is grayed out, tap it to turn it on.
- Make sure airplane mode is not enabled.
- For initial pairing, you absolutely need a stable WLAN connection. If Android Wear does not connect, check whether you are currently using your mobile data network.
- Test whether the WLAN is working. For example, call up any Internet page for this.
- Sometimes it can also be helpful to deactivate Bluetooth and WLAN connection briefly and then reactivate to trigger the connection.
