The first time you start playing Valorant, you will automatically enter the tutorial. There you can not choose the agent: It is Sova, who also plays an important role afterwards.

Valorant's agents cover a wide range of skills. Some skills are particularly useful and the best example of this is Sova.

Sova belongs to the Initiator class. In this role, he can be quite powerful on the front lines, and that too at a distance:

• His most powerful ability is the Reconnaissance Shot ("E"), which he can use to reveal the position of enemies. This is enormously helpful for the whole team, at the same time the skill is suitable for newcomers, because the shot has a long range, so they do not have to venture directly into the thick of battle.
• The reconnaissance shot always recharges and is thus usable several times per round.
• With the shock shot ("Q") you also have a damage skill from a distance. You can buy up to two shots at the beginning of the round.
• Sova's ultimate ability is the "Fury of the Hunter": the highly charged shot can even penetrate walls, which can prove very valuable tactically.

Sova thus combines ranged safety with good damage and high recon potential. This makes him a good choice for new players, but experienced Valorant players also like to fall back on Sova.
