You can also save documents in Word as HTML documents. This does not necessarily format the document correctly, and it still requires adjustments to be displayed optimally by the browser. Nevertheless, you can view the document in the browser and format it with CSS.

To transfer a document from Word to HTML format, not much magic is needed. Only when saving you have to specify the correct format manually.

1. An HTML document is distinguished in two respects.
2. On the one hand, an HTML document is structured according to a certain template and uses special tags for formatting.
3. On the other hand, any document can be transferred to the HTML format, as long as it gets the appropriate extension.
4. To save your document now as HTML, switch in Word under "File" to "Save As" and look for the file format for [*.htm] and [*.html].

1. Wenn Sie im Vorhinein wissen, dass Sie das Dokument später als Webseite nutzen möchten, können Sie bereits im Vorfeld eine Einstellung vornehmen.
