Mac: Convert Pages document to Word document

Pages is the free text editing program from Apple. It allows you to easily write and save text on your Mac. It is not possible for Windows users to open a Pages document. For this reason, it makes sense if you convert the document into a Word document before sending it.

How do you convert a Pages document to a Word file?

Of course, you can't just convert the Pages document to a Word document. Converting it to a PDF is not a problem either. So you can easily open the document in the browser.

1. The first thing you need to do is to open the document you want to convert. To do this, simply double-click on the file.
2. Next, click on "File" > "Export" > "Word" at the top of the menu bar.
3. In the window that now opens, you can set a password for the Word document. This is to make it difficult for other people to edit the Word document.
4. At the end, you just need to specify the name and location and click "Export". Now the document will be converted into a Word document and saved.
5. On the iPhone and iPad, the Pages app can also be used to convert a document into a Word file. To do this, simply tap "More" > "Export" > "Word".
