To avoid being thwarted by conflicts in your workflow in Excel, you need to get the preferences right to work together.- First you need to open the file you want to share and select the "Review" option. Now you will see the settings items and click "Share workbook" there.
- Now you will see a dialog box where you can set the parameters to collaborate on the file. Check "Allow multiple users to edit at the same time" and confirm your selection with "Ok".
- Now Excel will prompt you to save the file. Save the file in any location.
- When you click on the document now, you will see that the file name has been extended by the addition "Shared".
