Netflix: Download movies and series in the app

For some time now, you can download movies and series from Netflix. These are then also available offline and can be watched without an Internet connection. However, the movies are only stored temporarily and can only be used with the help of the Netflix app.

How to download series and movies in the Netflix app

The Netflix app allows you to download movies and series so you can use them offline. You are allowed to download 18 titles at once, which means 18 individual movies or series episodes. To save new titles afterwards, you have to delete some titles first. Due to licensing agreements, not all movies and series are available for download at Netflix. You can display all suitable titles via a separate function.

How to find movies and series for download

1. Open the Netflix app.
2. Tap "Downloads" at the bottom of the menu.
3. If you haven't downloaded any content yet, select "Find titles to download".
4. Haben Sie schon Filme oder Episoden gespeichert, scrollen Sie ganz ans Ende der Liste und wählen Sie unten „Mehr zum Download finden“.

Filme und Serien herunterladen

1. Wählen Sie einen Film oder die Episode einer Serie aus.
2. Neben dem Titel sehen Sie einen Pfeil.
3. Tippen Sie darauf.
4. Der Download wird gestartet. Der Fortschritt wird neben dem Titel angezeigt.
5. Sobald der Download abgeschlossen ist, erscheint ein blauer Pfeil.
