Netflix: Download series in the app

Netflix provides its own app in the Google Play Store and the Apple App Store. Since Netflix has offered for some time that series and movies can be watched offline, it is of course possible to download them in the app to watch them at a later time.

How to download a series in the Netflix app

With the Netflix app it is possible to download series and movies and watch them at a later time. To do this, you need an active streaming account with Netflix and an Internet connection. Furthermore, your iPhone or iPad must have iOS 9 or higher and your Android must be at least on version 4.4.2.

1. First open the app and in it the title you want to download.
2. Now you can click on the download icon in the description of the title. This consists of a small arrow pointing down.
3. If the download is complete, you will find the series or movie under "My Downloads" in the app.
4. Eventually the arrow is not displayed, in this case your device does not meet the requirements or the medium is not available for download.
5. The current limit for downloaded titles per device is 100.
6. Netflix recently added a Smart Download feature that automatically downloads the next episode.
