Making money is important in Red Dead Online to buy weapons and more equipment. In order to get money as quickly as possible, it is recommended that you not only play the story missions, but also use other sources of income.

To buy weapons, ammo or clothes in Red Dead Online, you need money. The best way to not only earn money but also gain experience points in the game is to complete story missions. There are currently six of these, and the quickest way to join them is to go to "Join Quickly" > "Story Mission" in the Free Roam menu. Depending on the mission you play, you can earn between $30 and $150 this way.

Besides completing story missions, solving treasure maps is a good way to earn money. You will receive these as rewards throughout the game. Once you have obtained a treasure map, take it to the yellow marked location where the treasure chests are hidden.
