Switch off WLAN Call - how to stop the additional function

The WLAN Call function can be booked additionally with most mobile phone tariffs. To use WLAN Call, you need a smartphone that supports this technology and a mobile contract that includes VoLTE. If you no longer want to use the option, you may be able to switch it off.

How to turn off the WLAN Call feature

To use the WLAN Call feature, you need a mobile phone contract that supports VoLTE and a WLAN Call-enabled smartphone. You make a WLAN Call by selecting "Phone" > "More" > "Calls" > "Via WLAN". This also allows you to check whether the option is supported by your provider. However, if you no longer want to use the option, simply turn it off.

1. Go to "Phone" on Android and open the menu via the button with the dot icon.
2. Now click on "Settings" and then on "WIFI Calling". Dieser Punkt kann auch „WLAN Call“ heißen.
3. Tippen Sie die passende Funktion an, um die Option zu deaktivieren.
4. Verwenden Sie ein iPhone, gehen Sie auf Ihre „Einstellungen“.
5. Wählen Sie anschließend den Punkt „Telefon“ aus und klicken Sie auf den Eintrag „WLAN-Anrufe“.
6. Hier können Sie nun die Option „WLAN-Anrufe auf iPhone“ ausschalten beziehungsweise wieder einschalten.
