The Escapists Crafting: How to build the escape tool

In The Escapists you play a prisoner in a jail and you want to do everything to break out. To achieve this objective, you'll have to complete different missions from other inmates and rise in their favor. It is also recommended to craft different items and use them.

How does crafting work?

To craft in The Escapists, you must first press the number nine on your keyboard or click "craft" on the right side of the screen. Now that you have the necessary parts, you can craft new things. These include weapons, clothes, fake wall coverings or fake fingerprints.

1. Use a Lightweight Pickaxe, a Timber, a roll of Duct Tape and a Sturdy Pickaxe to dig your way out.
2. Use a Tool Handle, a Sheet of Metal and a roll of Duct Tape to make yourself a Flimsy Shovel, which you then convert into a Sturdy Shovel with a roll of Duct Tape and another Sheet of Metal.
