On Black Friday, various stores offer discounts on selected products for 24 hours every year. Many well-known retailers such as Ebay, Amazon, Zalando and Media Markt are also taking part this year.

What you should know about Black Friday

Black Friday originated in the United States, but was brought to Germany in 2006 by electronics giant Apple. Traditionally, Black Friday always takes place on the day after the American Thanksgiving holiday. On this day, many online stores grant discounts and special offers for 24 hours and thus celebrate the beginning of the Christmas business.

A complete list of which stores will participate in Black Friday this year does not yet exist. With some online stores, however, it is already known that you, as in previous years, will have special offers on Black Friday.

1. So Amazon will not only have offers on Black Friday, but begins on the Monday before already with the "Cyber Monday Week".
2. The online marketplace Ebay also advertises with WOW!Angeboten zum Black Friday.
3. Bei den Elektronikhändlern Saturn und Media Markt können Sie am 23. November ebenfalls mit Schnäppchen im Bereich Smartphones, Notebooks, Kaffeemaschinen, Spielekonsolen und Haushaltsgeräte rechnen.
4. Auch die Bekleidungs-Versandhändler Otto, Zalando und Galeria Kaufhof machen beim Black Friday mit.
