MHW Iceborne: Tips for fighting the Rajang - all info
The Rajang came both on consoles and for PC a little later via DLC. And this update had it all, as quickly becomes clear in the fight. We explain the Rajang fight and give tips.
Particularly fast monsters are not uncommon in Iceborne. The Rajang strikes in the same notch, and with force.Iceborne: How to approach the Rajang fight
For the first duel with the Rajang you need the following knowledge:- The Rajang goes through three phases: At first, its fur is black, but as soon as it gets angry, it turns golden. However, it gets even worse in the third phase, where his arms visibly thicken and glow red. This also means that weapons without "Inner Eye" bounce off.
- With enough damage to the tail, the third phase is completed.
- The monkey monster's attacks come with such force that concussion resistance (level 3) is advisable. This greatly facilitates the fight.
- Be careful with the clamp claw, because he can counter it. At the head you can not cling anyway; for this the shoulders are suitable.
- The Rajang is particularly vulnerable to ice. Suitable elemental weapons, especially for double-blade and bow players, are therefore welcome.
- Furthermore, the Rajang is not a dragon elder - traps should therefore definitely be in the luggage.
- It is important to know: In pitfalls run the Rajang only when he is angry. For the first phase, on the other hand, you need shock traps.
