The streaming era is just getting started, with top dogs like Netflix soon getting even more competition. Joyn therefore strikes a clever notch, namely completely free streaming.What is Joyn and why is the service so successful?
Joyn has been available since mid-June 2019 and could quickly make a name for itself. There are good reasons for this:- Joyn belongs to the ProSiebenSat.1 broadcasting group, consequently their content is available there.
- In addition to ProSieben and Sat.1 there are ARD, ZDF, Comedy Central, DMAX, Discovery Channel and many other channels - in total there are currently 55.
- Excluded are the stations of the RTL Group, as these are combined in TVNow.
- Joyn offers the full live program on all channels, in addition, the content can be accessed "on demand".
- Joyn is completely free, as the offer is financed by advertising - just like in classic television so.
