If your charging case doesn't charge the corresponding AirPods, you are facing a problem. AirPods can be charged exclusively with the matching case. Nevertheless, the situation is not hopeless, as problems with the charging case are usually easy to explain and can also be fixed.

First, you should try a few basic things. Most of the time, the fault already lies in the fact that a cable is not connected properly.

1. Depending on the type of charging case you use, you need to pay attention to different things.
2. First, see if the Lightning cable is properly connected to the case and replace it if necessary.
3. Should you use a Qi charger, make sure that the AirPods are securely on the mat and there is a solid connection to a power source.
4. On a Qi charger, make sure the case status indicator is facing up.
