Play Rust in German: How to change the language

Even German players start Rust in English by default. If you want to change the language, it is possible at any time. Read how to play Rust in German.

Simply switch: Rust is now also available in German.

For a long time, there was no German localization in Rust. The change of the language was nevertheless possible, but not on official way and with technical effort connected. In the meantime, this fortunately looks different.

How to change Rust to German

Proceed as follows:

1. Start the game.
2. Stay in the main menu. There, click on the button with an "A" and a Chinese symbol in the upper right corner.
3. A window opens in which you can see the available languages, including German.

Be aware that the translations are mostly from the community and can therefore be incorrect. Overall, however, the German localization is well advanced and good enough to play without complaints.
