Parallel to the big crypto boom at the end of 2017, IOTA also celebrated its first high. Weak years followed, but meanwhile things continued to progress behind the scenes. One of the results is the Trinity Wallet.

Modern and secure: the Trinity Wallet is the official solution of the IOTA Foundation.

In the early days, users had to resort to a wallet from Github for IOTA storage, as explained here at the time. This fulfilled its purpose, but was not considered the final desired solution of all involved.

IOTA: Trinity Wallet as a clear improvement

In the meantime, there has been a wallet officially developed by the IOTA Foundation for some time.

• This goes by the name Trinity Wallet. Design and functionality are kept simple and slim, but highly modern. Alone thereby it decides clearly from the earlier solutions.
• Furthermore, the Trinity Wallet is considered more secure.
• You can import existing seeds in the Wallet into an account and thus manage them. Receiving and sending IOTA is also possible, of course.
• Practical are additional features such as the Seed Vault, with which you can store your seeds on the computer.
