Photographing with the iPhone: How to do it right
The quality of smartphone cameras is getting better and better. The biggest advantage of taking photos with an iPhone is that you almost always have your smartphone with you. Photos turn out especially well if you know your way around the photo settings.
How to take photos with the iPhone
To get started, open the camera app. Swipe left or right to switch between the different shooting modes. To take a photo, press the shutter button. If you drag the shutter button to the left and keep it pressed, several photos will be taken one after the other. Frequently used functions can be turned on or off using the icons on the screen.- Flash: Activate the flash to take photos in a dark environment.
- Portrait: In this mode, the foreground remains sharp while the background is blurred. The mode is suitable for selfies, for example.
- Panorama: The shooting mode is particularly suitable for landscape shots.
- Live Photos: From the iPhone 6s, the iPhone still records a short video clip before the actual photo, if this function is active.
