1. To connect the two devices, you must first open the Google Home app on your smartphone.
2. Then click on the icon at the top right to add new devices. The app will now search for compatible devices nearby.
3. Once the Chromecast stick has been found, it will be displayed and can be added.
4. Now follow the instructions in the app to complete the process.
5. When doing so, give the device a name so that it can be easily distinguished from other devices in your smart home system.
