FIFA 21: Is a Switch version coming? We have all the info

FIFA has long since arrived in Nintendo's Switch universe, albeit with differences from the other platforms. Our guide explains what that means for the new FIFA 21.

Skimmed down, but still fun: FIFA 21 comes with some sacrifices on the Switch.

FIFA was already released for the Switch last year, but as a so-called Legacy Edition. What it is about, we explained here at the time.

And also with FIFA 21, EA Sports remains true to this approach. That is:

• FIFA 21 for the Switch will be a slimmed-down version. Technically and in terms of content, there are many differences from the versions for PC, Xbox and PlayStation.
• VOLTA is not included, as in FIFA 20, also otherwise you will look for most innovations in vain.
• Changes are only in the menu navigation and in the timeliness of teams and players.
• The extremely popular FUT mode is included, however.

These limitations are due to the technical specifications of the Switch. For soccer fans, FIFA 21 is nevertheless clearly the best game available for the Nintendo console.
