Monster Hunter World - Iceborne: The System Requirements

The Iceborne expansion is based on the same technology as the main Monster Hunter World game. Nevertheless, Capcom has specified the system requirements a bit, as shown below.

Hot computers for Iceborne: The system requirements are basically unchanged.

Basically, the requirements have not changed. However, the specifications have been expanded to include more modern components.

MHW Iceborne: These are the system requirements:

First the minimum requirements for 30 FPS at 1080p and low settings:

• CPU: Intel Core i5-4460 or Core i3-9100F / AMD FX-6300 or Ryzen 3 3200G
• Graphics card: GeForce GTX 760 or GTX 1050 / AMD Radeon R7 260x or RX 560
• Memory: 4 GB

Recommended for significantly better performance are at least the following components:

• CPU: Intel Core i7-3770 or Core i3-8350 / AMD Ryzen 5 1500X or Ryzen 5 3400G
• Graphics card: GeForce GTX 1060 or GTX 1650 / AMD Radeon RX 480 or RX 580
• Memory: 8 GB

An SSD is not mandatory, but absolutely recommended due to load times. In all cases, Iceborne requires 48 GB of memory, regardless of whether you install everything fresh or update the existing Monster Hunter World to the expansion.
