Mac: Update Pages - the fastest way

With Pages you can edit texts on the Mac. You can use both the Apple Pencil and the keyboard to do this. Pages is available for Mac OSX and iOS and is downloaded from the App Store. From time to time, you should update Pages on your Mac.

How to update Pages?

If you want to update an app on Mac, the best way to do it is through the general Update Assistant.
  1. Go to the bottom of the bar and click "App Store". You can also open the App Store by pressing Command + Space and then typing "App Store". Pressing Enter will then open the App Store.
  2. At the very top you will now find the "Updates" category. Open this.
  3. If an update for Pages has not yet been downloaded and installed by you, this will now be displayed.
  4. On the right you will find the button "Update". Click on it to start the update for Pages on your Mac. You can also update all other apps this way.
Pages is part of Apple's office suite iWork, which includes other office applications such as the presentation program Keynote and the spreadsheet program Numbers. iWork costs money, but is cheaper in a package with Mac OS X and iLife. iLife, in turn, is Apple's multimedia package.
